The RoadWatch LPR app will pass licence plate information to Wave. Rules can then be set up in Wave to bookmark and record licence plates.
In Wave, create a separate user the ANPR app will use to log into Wave. This user account must have a simple alphanumeric password
Ensure Digest authentication is enabled for the user account:
Click on the three dots:
Click on allow digest authentication for this user:
Enter these account details, along with the Wave server IP and port on the Roadwatch app:
Add the camera to Wave and then set up a Generic Event rule for the camera to bookmark the video when a licence plate is read:
You can then see and search for LPR events:
Please be aware there is currently a bug with this integration, if the Wave camera name contains a space the generic events will not work. You will need to rename the camera to remove the space and restart the RoadWatch app on the camera for the change to take effect (it may require a few app restarts for this to work)
