The M12 connector is a 4 pin connector for mobile or rugged applications. It is required for all Network Cameras that have an "M" in the model number.
An M12 to RJ45 adapter cable is available and can be purchased separately from a distributor using part number: EP02-002261A
This connection uses only 4 conductors, Pins 1,2,3 and 6 (see picture below) and requires Mode A compatibility. Enure your PoE injector or switch is Mode A capable.
