This article outlines the process of migrating a 1.60.6 or 160.7 SSM system to SSM 2.10.x
SSM Version 2.10.x is a legacy version but has been tested with the migration tool. Migrating to a later version of SSM has not been tested.
Before migrating:
Ensure your SSM instance is running 1.60.6 or 1.60.7
Take a backup of this system in SSM
To migrate:
Run the SSM Export Tool, which can be downloaded here, on the machine running the SSM Server & Media Gateway:
Click on Export System Manager and this will create two files; a .nvr file and a .domain file
Uninstall SSM 1.60.6
Install SSM 2.10

(You need to download & install the SSM Core Server and SSM Console Client)
Stop the SSM services
Run SSM Import Tool and select the .nvr and .domain files
Restart the SSM services
Log into SSM 2.10 using the password of the previous version and you should see the DVRs/NVRs and devices from the older SSM instance.
