The X series AI cameras have a feature called DetectionShot, which provides a cropped image of a detected AI object, and transmits it within the Metadata stream to a VMS. In some cases, it may be useful to view the DetectionShot images in the web browser of the camera, to verify it is working properly for troubleshooting purposes, before moving on to examining the VMS or other integrated software The DetectionShot can also show you how the camera is currently classifying objects, in case adjustments to its' settings need to be made.
The DetectionShots however are not displayed by default in the Core Series cameras, unlike the P series cameras which have a Best Shot panel.
To show a the Best Shot panel:
1. Connect to the camera's web interface using a modern web browser, and log in.
2. In the camera settings, ensure Detection shot is ticked in Object Detection settings
3. Go back to the camera homepage and using your keyboard, press Control + Alt + S
4. The DetectionShot panel is displayed.
