How to configure Smart Viewer with a recorder.
This guide will show step by step how to configure Smart Viewer and connect a recorder for live viewing on a local network.
Download and install Smart Viewer from the Hanwha Techwin website.

Once installed, look for the Smart Viewer icon and launch the programme.
Click on Allow access if prompted.
Enter and confirm a new ADMIN password.
On the Setup pop-up window, click on Device.
Click on Auto to discover devices on your local network.
Select the device you wish to add, enter the username and password you would use to access the device locally then click on Connection Test.
Click OK on the Connection test completed pop-up box, click Register and click Close.
Now your device should be listed in the left hand box, ticking the Apply Camera Title check box will import the camera names from the recorder, click Close.
Click on the plug icon to connect to the device, connecting for the first time will take a little longer than usual, the images should appear after a few seconds.
Once connected, cameras should automatically appear.
