There are two ways of receiving motion detection alarms in Wave:
- directly from the camera
- using Wave's motion detection engine
To receive motion detection alarms from a camera, firstly enable motion detection on the camera:
To configure cause and effect for these alarms, ensure you select Analytics Event then Motion Detection as the trigger:
To use Wave's motion detection engine, enable motion detection on the camera:
To configure cause and effect for these motion detection events, ensure you select Motion on Camera as the event trigger:
