Analogue cameras have a PED Level setting under the Image Adj. option in the camera menu.
It is not clear what this setting does from the camera user guides:
Hanwha user guide
Samsung user guide
The PED Level setting adjusts the level of what dark areas are displayed as black in the image.
The lower the level setting, the more dark areas become black, and the higher the level setting, the more distinguished the different dark areas will be, however the image may appear lighter than real life.
