When adding a Hanwha AI or Core Series camera to Milestone, the following steps should be followed to ensure AI functionality in Milestone
The Hanwha AI plugin must be installed. Both the Server and Client AI plugin must be installed on the Milestone server and the Client plugin installed on the Milestone client(s). You can download the plugins here
When adding the camera to Milestone, ensure the camera metadata is also included:
When the camera has been added, tick the appropriate metadata search elements in
Metadata Use->Metadata Search
By default cameras only record on motion in Milestone. Create a rule to record the camera 24/7, this will ensure all footage and metadata is recorded properly within Milestone.
Restart the Milestone system and AI events will then be searchable within the Milestone client
