SPC-7000 – SSM

Connect the SPC-7000 keyboard to the SSM PC using a USB cable plugged into the SSM socket on the back of the SPC-7000 keyboard.

Login to the SPC-7000 keyboard and in SSM open the Setup page by clicking the gear icon at the top left of the SSM screen

Select the SPC-7000 keyboard under the General – System Controller section and check connection – Connected should be displayed if the keyboard is connected correctly

On the SPC-7000 keyboard, select recorder

Then select SSM

The screen should change to the SSM Control screen

The message ‘To control the SSM in the UI, Press the SHIFT and RECORDER/SSM keys sequentially’ should be shown on the screen also.

Press the SHIFT key and then the MENU/MOUSE key to control the mouse and the press them again to control the screen.

Once the screen control has been selected you will see the monitoring screen that is selected as it will have a joystick icon next to it at the top

To switch to a different monitoring screen press the monitor number and then then MON./CON. button on the keyboard – the joystick icon will then move to the new monitor.

If you have layouts saved, you can select these on the monitor screen by pressing the layout number on the keypad then the LAYOUT/SEQ. button

Tiles can be selected using the joystick or the tile number then the TILE/VM button

Cameras can be selected using the number key of the camera then the CAM button – cameras can be assigned numbers under the configuration page in SSM
